1. About these terms

These Terms of Service form a legal agreement between you and Quoteland Ltd ("Quoteland", "we", "us"). They apply to everyone who uses our website and services, whether as a customer, a professional, or a visitor. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Quoteland.

2. What Quoteland is

Quoteland is an online marketplace that connects customers seeking local services with professionals who provide them. Customers post a request; matched professionals can send quotes and contact the customer directly. We provide the introduction only — we do not supply, oversee or guarantee any services, and we are not an agent of either party.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

4. Customers

When you post a request, you agree that your request details and contact information may be shared with matched professionals so they can quote and contact you. Requests remain live for 7 days. Posting a request and receiving quotes is free. You are under no obligation to hire any professional, and any agreement you enter into is directly with that professional.

5. Professionals

• You must be legally able to provide the services you offer, and hold any licences, registrations, qualifications and insurance required by law.
• Information on your profile — including credentials — must be accurate and current.
• You are solely responsible for the services you provide, your quotes, and your dealings with customers.
• You must respond to customers professionally and comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection law.

6. Credits and payments

Professionals purchase credits to send quotes to customers. Credits are consumed when you respond to a request. Credit prices are shown at the point of purchase. Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable and have no cash value. We may change credit pricing on notice. Payments are processed by our payment provider; by purchasing, you authorise the relevant charge.

7. Reviews

Customers may leave reviews of professionals. Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and must not contain unlawful, offensive or misleading content. We may remove reviews that breach these terms. Reviews reflect the views of customers, not Quoteland.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Quoteland for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
• Post false, misleading or infringing content.
• Harass, abuse or harm another user.
• Circumvent our systems, scrape data, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Use another person's account or misrepresent your identity or credentials.

9. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as request details, photos and reviews), and you grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the service. All Quoteland branding, software and site content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be used without permission.

10. Liability

Quoteland provides the platform "as is". We do not guarantee that any professional will quote, that any work will be carried out, or the quality of any services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of customers or professionals, or for any dispute between them. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the marketplace and its users. You may stop using Quoteland and close your account at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise for consumers.
